Many physicians are qualified for jobs in multiple arenas of medicine. As an example, primary care physicians have options for emergency medicine jobs, urgent care jobs, and hospitalist jobs. There is growing use of specialists in hospitalist roles as well. And, there are other physician careers which typically don’t have specific post-doctorate training requirements such as wound care jobs and general practice jobs.
Registered physician job seekers are free to select as many specialties as they wish and we recommend selecting as many as you are qualified for to increase your exposure within our service. When you register a job seeker account your primary specialty is required. To select additional specialties click the link “My Web CV” after logging in. The second box of information is titled “Professional Information” and near the top of that section is a link to “Add Specialty” which will allow you to add as many specialties as you wish. Listing all of your specialties will affect new job alerts, how you turn up in employer searches, and email alerts.
Thanks for reading, good luck with your job search, and please feel free to contact us if you need any assistance.
