Just over one year ago, we published HospitalRecruiting.com onto the World Wide Web. We launched our site fully aware of the challenges and competition we would face, and over the last year we have had enough success to feel confident that we are well on our way to achieving our goal of offering the best physician and healthcare job site out there.

Some of our achievements and improvements from the last year include:

• We launched HospitalRecruiting.com with zero jobs; one year later we have been able to grow to over 2,500 physician and advanced practitioner jobs.
• Daily site visitors have grown from 10 or 20 visitors per day, to currently over 600 per day.  These are highly targeted visitors; based on our candidate registrations, approximately 85% of our visitors are physicians or advanced practitioners.
• We do not require candidates to register in order to use our site, but we do provide some excellent tools for candidates who choose to register. We manually review each registration to ensure accurate information for our clients, and our database has grown to 3,284 registered job seekers.
• We have generated over 2,200 physician and advanced practitioner applications for our clients, with the vast majority of applications occurring during the second half of the year.
• Our optimization for organic Google search is beginning to place HospitalRecruiting.com above the more established physician job boards in search results for a large number of relevant search phrases. This is an important achievement and search engine optimization will remain a critical priority.
• We have added an integrated email system to the site which gives both employers and job seekers a HospitalRecruiting.com inbox for job search and recruiting emails.  The integrated email system also allows employers a monthly allotment of “bulk” emails and the ability to contact anonymous job seekers through their HospitalRecruiting.com inbox.

We are very excited to see where the next year takes us.  We have many more improvements planned for the site, and we have a plan to continue to grow our traffic and increase the exposure we provide to our clients, physician, and advanced practitioner jobs.  We have enjoyed a very successful first year, and we look forward to continuing to provide our current and future clients the best service available.
