The Hospitals of Providence - Transmountain Physician Jobs

The Hospitals of Providence - Transmountain

A partnership with Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center (TTUHSC) El Paso, this new teaching hospital will establish the infrastructure to provide high-quality clinical care in northwest El Paso and southern New Mexico. Indeed, The Hospitals of Providence Transmountain Campus will create more than 300 jobs with a median income of $45,000.

Even more, the 106-bed facility will establish a world-class training site for the area’s future health care professionals, positioning El Paso as a regional health care hub. The new Residency programs will begin in the year 2020 and will ultimately create up to 75 new Residency slots- a critical step towards the development and retention of physicians in our community. More specifically, this hospital, through its partnership with TTUHSC El Paso, will enhance educational training in specialties such as family medicine, internal medicine, obstetrics and gynecology, psychiatry, and surgery. Additionally, the hospital will offer conventional medical services.  These services will include:

  • Cardiac Catheterization
  • Cardiovascular Medicine
  • Emergency Medicine
  • Endocrinology Medicine/Surgery
  • ENT Medicine/Surgery
  • GI Medicine
  • Gynecology/Surgery
  • Hematology
  • Infectious Disease

  • Normal Newborns
  • Oncology Medicine/Surgery
  • Orthopedic Medicine/Surgery
  • Pathology
  • Pulmonary Medicine
  • Radiology
  • Spinal Fusion Surgery

Upon opening in January 2017, the hospital will be staffed by both TTUHSC faculty and private community physicians- truly a unique environment that will ensure that all patients in the community are readily served.
