DMC - Family Medicine Residency Program
The Family Medicine Residency at the Detroit Medical Center-Sinai Grace Hospital/Michigan State University-College of Osteopathic Medicine (DMC-SGH/MSU-COM) is a well-rounded program that provides a solid foundation for family medicine residency training.
The Detroit Medical Center Sinai-Grace Hospital/MSU-COM Family Medicine Residency Program is a program based in northwest Detroit, Michigan proudly serving one of the most vulnerable populations in the city. The program successfully integrates strong university-driven academic standards with exposure to a broad spectrum of pathologies. Our exceptional training involves clinical experience at our DMC Grand River Health Center (Patient Centered Medical Home) within the heart of Detroit. All rotations take place within the DMC hospital system, a nationally recognized health care system that serves patients and families throughout Michigan and beyond. Our staff is dedicated to providing a strong academic experience and committed to developing our residents into exceptional Family Medicine Physicians. This training program offers our residents the distinct opportunity to learn about the diversity of the Detroit population and the wide-ranging medical needs within it.
