The recent transition makes it the sixth hospital in the Erlanger Health System and the system’s first hospital in North Carolina. The 14-bed emergency department see approximately 17,000 patients annually. Erlanger Western Carolina Hospital’s team is comprised of board-certified physicians, APCs and support care providers 24/7. The department has additional medical support on location within walking distance of the main campus, as well as access to a laboratory and radiology department.
