Since 1886, the Children's Hospital of Michigan has been dedicated to providing the highest quality medical care to children and adolescents in a caring, efficient, and family-centered environment. The children's Hospital of Michigan has 228 licensed beds and is staffed by more than 2,000 employees. It has more than 500 physicians on the medical staff, including pediatric specialists and pediatric-trained nurses.
Children's Hospital of Michigan includes an American College of Surgeons verified, freestanding Level I Pediatric Trauma Center and verified pediatric burn center. The hospital provides exceptional care, around the clock, to injured children and families from time of injury through recovery and rehabilitation. When pediatric patients need emergency transport, Children's Hospital of Michigan's PANDA One provides a dedicated pediatric and neonatal ambulance service and team.
