Carilion Children's Pediatric Medicine has a full time opportunity available for an ABMS/AOA, BE/BC Pediatrician to join their growing Postal Drive office in Roanoke, VA consisting of 7 physicians and 2 dedicated nurse practitioners. Enjoy an outpatient practice providing comprehensive care from birth to 18 years of age. Physicians share call and nursery duty with their sister office located in the adjoining county which is split equally among the group. Call from home approximately 3 nights per month along with 1 weekend, nursery duty, no admissions.
Hospital coverage is provided by hospital based Pediatricians, Pediatric Hospitalists, Pediatric Intensivists, and Neonatologists at Carilion Clinic Children's Hospital, the region's only Level III 60-bed NICU, 8 bed PICU, and 24 bed inpatient pediatric unit. Pediatric expertise and support available in most subspecialties: Allergy, Anesthesia, Cardiology, Clinical Genetics, Developmental Pediatrics, Emergency Medicine, Endocrinology, Gastroenterology, Hematology & Oncology, Intensivists, Neonatology, Opthamology, Orthopedics, Neurology, Neurosurgery, Pulmonary, Psychiatry, and Surgery.
Carilion Clinic is a physician-led, multi-specialty group practice with more than 700+ physicians representing over 76 specialities and the largest, not-for-profit integrated health system in western Virginia serving one million people. Carilion includes 7 hospitals, 220+ physician practices, 25 ACGME programs affiliated with Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine, University of Virginia, and Via College of Osteopathic Medicine.
