Tennessee Valley Cardiovascular Center located in Florence, AL (1 hour west of Huntsville) is seeking BE/BC Non-Invasive Cardiologist to join a busy, hospital-employed group of cardiovascular providers that is well known throughout the northern Alabama region for their experience and expertise. North Alabama Medical Center’s 263-bed facility was opened in 2018 and is the most comprehensive medical facility in northwest Alabama. NAMC is a certified Chest Pain Center and is recognized as a Primary Stroke Center of Excellence.
Position Details:
• Single-Specialty employed practice of 9 physicians (4 interventional, 5 general)
• Clinic conveniently located on hospital campus
• State-of-the-art facility w/ Vascular & Open Heart ORs, 4 Cath Labs, and Hybrid Suite
• Excellent APP Support from skilled CV PA-Cs
• Call shared among group
• Work in Inpatient/Outpatient Settings
• Home to IM and Psychiatry residency programs for those who enjoy teaching
• O-1 and J-1 waiver support via State Conrad 30, ARC, DRA, HHS based on location and specialty

North Alabama Medical Center (NAMC) is a 263-bed health care organization that will open its doors to patients on December 6, 2018. The facility is a replacement hospital for Eliza Coffee Memorial Hospital in Florence, AL.
NAMC has grown into the most comprehensive medical facility in northwest Alabama, south central Tennessee, and northeast Mississippi. The facility is the home of northwest Alabama’s only full-service heart/cardiac program. Our cardiac physicians offer the latest diagnostic and medical treatments available, along with the community’s only open-heart surgery suites and recovery facilities. In addition, ECM operates a complete line of women’s and children’s services, including dedicated OB/GYN and pediatric units.
NAMC's 24-hour emergency department serves as the primary referral center for major trauma cases in northwest Alabama. In addition, we offer a complete line of medical, oncology, pulmonary, ambulatory, endoscopy, laboratory, and imaging services. We have over 200 physicians on staff representing over 42 specialty areas of medicine.
