New Jersey Academic Headache Neuromuscular Neurologist
Cooper Neurological Institute is recruiting for the following Neurologist with fellowship training in headache, EMG/Neuromuscular or Cognitive Neurology-qualified for appointment at the Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor rank
The Department of Neurology has 29 physicians and 15 APPs and continues to expand. Cooper was the first Joint Commission Certified Comprehensive Stroke Center in South Jersey and is certified as a level IV epilepsy center by the National Association of Epilepsy Centers. They utilize EPIC electronic medical record system.
The Neurology Residency Program at Cooper University Hospital is a four-year categorical program. Their team is committed to delivering high-quality patient care, community outreach, student and resident education, and clinical research.
The Cooper Neurological Institute (CNI) is fully dedicated to the diagnosis and treatment of neurological and neurosurgical issues and offers patients a full spectrum of innovative therapies for neurologic disease, including stroke, epilepsy, neuromuscular diseases, headache, immunology, and movement disorders. CNI has a Joint Commission approved Comprehensive Stroke Center and Epilepsy Center.
CNI specialists are faculty members at Cooper Medical School of Rowan University and have the ability to participate in the latest clinical trials, investigational medications, and advances in surgical and medical technology. With the partnership of Cooper and the world-renowned MD Anderson Cancer Center, the neurological oncology team has access to the latest in treatment options in the state-of-the-art cancer treatment facility at MD Anderson Cancer Center at Cooper.
Cooper University Hospital is southern New Jersey’s only Level 1 Trauma Center, and its Children’s Regional Hospital is the only Level II Pediatric Trauma Center in the Delaware Valley.
