Neurohospitalist Opportunity 20 Minutes to Chicago

A Neurological institute in metro Chicago seeks a Neuro-Hospitalist to lead and further develop their inpatient Neurology services. You will be employed through a large Midwestern multi-hospital group. This site is a 274-bed, certified by the Joint Commission as Primary Stroke Center and is an affiliate teaching site for the University of Illinois College of Medicine for medical students and residents. The hospital has a consistent population of stroke and inpatient Neurological patients.

Hospital Employee .  Signing Bonus available, contact us for details.  Relocation Bonus available.  CME time and money available.  You will be responsible for serving as a liaison to ICU and Internal Medicine teams, who are in-house 24/7, as part of the typical consultative management of hospital-based Neurologic conditions.  The ideal candidate will be Board Certified/Board Eligible in General Neurology with experience on a busy Neurology service and should feel comfortable managing all variety of inpatient Neurologic conditions, including stroke and non-operative intracerebral hemorrhage.
