Nephrologist - Wausau, Wisconsin

Aspirus Health is seeking a new or experienced Nephrologist to join our health system in central and northcentral Wisconsin. With a solid primary care referral base, you will be able to build a strong and busy practice in a short period of time

POSITION HIGHLIGHTS:

·   Join a growing and supportive team of 3 Nephrologists and 2 APC Providers

·   Call rotation 1:3

·   Split time between multiple dialysis and Nephrology clinics in Wausau and surrounding areas, as well as Aspirus Wausau Hospital

·   There is amazing and reliable collaboration between our dialysis and nephrology teams

·   Outreach locations are within an hour of our centralized location in Wausau, Wisconsin

·   New graduates and experienced physicians are encouraged to apply

·   Aspirus Wausau hospital is licensed for 325 beds

SYSTEM and AREA HIGHLIGHTS:

·   Aspirus Nephrology is part of the Aspirus Health system of 17 hospitals and 75 clinics throughout Central and Northcentral Wisconsin, and Upper Michigan

·   Aspirus Medford Hospital’s Kidney Care Center recently received the 5-Diamond Patient Safety Program award, again, for 2022

·   Wausau, Wisconsin, and the surrounding area have a huge assortment of activities to take part in, throughout the year, including snowmobiling, skiing, fishing, hiking, kayaking, festivals, farmer’s markets, theater, and a thriving art scene
