Job Summary:
Mission Health is seeking a geriatric/adult psychiatrist to join our multidisciplinary behavioral health team, located in Asheville, North Carolina.Qualified Candidates:
- Board certified or board eligible
- Experience with common co-occurring conditions such as trauma spectrum, eating disorders, and substance use disorders
- Willing to work in inpatient setting
- Provide Collaborative Care Management (CoCM) consultation with employed primary care integrated clinicians
- Please note that this position does not offer visa support
- This is an employed position with HCA Healthcare

- 23-bed emergency department psychiatric evaluation area and 10-bed behavioral health pod in the new Mission Hospital emergency department
- Consultation on the pediatrics service and in the emergency department
- Active ECT program
- Involvement in teaching and supervision as part of new residency training program through MAHEC, with academic appointment possible
