UT Health East Texas is looking for a full-time faculty Medical Oncologist/Hematologist to join our team 11 Medical Oncologists, 3 Nurse Practitioners, and 3 Radiation Oncologists. This is an academic opportunity to join the university hospital serving East Texas and beyond.
Ideal Candidate:
- BC in Medical Oncology (required), Internal Medicine (preferred), and Hematology (preferred)
- Eligible for licensure in Texas.
- Excellent communication skills
- Team oriented and motivated by the opportunity to contribute to a growing academic environment
Position Details: This is an employed faculty position with UT Health East Texas.
- 20+ patients/day
- Monday-Friday, optional outpatient clinic opportunities
- 1 weekend on-call every 9 weeks
- Infusion Center
- Pharmacy offering oral oncolytic medication, dedicated oncology pharmacist
- 340B drug pricing program
- Oncology Research department and Genetics program

- On-site registered dietician
