Job Description

Join a well-respected, established practice in a great work environment with a small-town feel.  This position is with a private practice located in Logan, West Virginia in the MOB on the campus of Logan Regional Medical Center.  The ideal candidate will have the opportunity to demonstrate strong clinical skills providing care for women in the office, hospital and labor and delivery settings and must be experienced and willing to work in a team setting and.  Logan Regional is a 140-bed acute care facility in Logan, WV offering a full range of health care services to a service area close to 200,000 people in southwestern West Virginia and eastern Kentucky. 

 

- The Women’s Center is in the newest wing of the hospital with 3 LDRs and 7 postpartum rooms

- Level I Nursery

- 24/7 anesthesia coverage for OB and dedicated triage rooms within unit

- Over 200 births each year

- Pediatric coverage is available for emergency c-sections.

About Logan Regional Medical Center

Logan Regional Medical Center is a 140-bed acute care facility in Logan, West Virginia that is The Joint Commission (TJC) accredited. The hospital offers a full range of health care services in a recently expanded facility. A newly renovated $1.1 million Physical Rehabilitation Unit opened in 2003. A $20 million Emergency Department and Facility Renovation, completed in 2006, added approximately 42,000 square feet to the facility and renovated approximately 8,000 square feet within the existing hospital. The Emergency Department includes 22 rooms, a portable X-ray unit, a CAT scan, a portable ultrasound, X-ray rooms and three trauma rooms. The second floor includes the Women’s Center, with three labor and delivery suites, a staging area and a nine-bed nursery with the latest in safety and LDR security features. PACS Technology, which allows physicians in the Emergency Department to make consultations 24 hours a day with radiologists at other facilities across the country, has also been installed. Also, our Cath Lab and IR suite was opened in 2010. The hospital has purchased over $4.2 million in state-of-the-art medical equipment.
