Seeking IM/FP Hospitalist in WY - Ranked as Top 100 Rural & Community Hospital
SageWest Health Care in Riverton is looking for a Board Certified or Board Eligible IM or FM trained Hospitalist to join their medical staff. There is also an option to split time and build an outpatient practice, if desired. Local specialists included general surgery, pediatrics, urology, ENT, OB/GYN, orthopedics, neurology, physiatry and interventional pain.
- The physician can choose either: 7 on/7 off 12 hour shifts or 24 hour shifts with 3-5 days block schedule
- Vent management is required and intubation/extubation is preferred
- Average daily admission is 4
- ADC for med/surg beds is 9 and 1.5 for ICU
- 18 med/surg beds and 4 ICU beds total
- Regional Airport in Riverton with daily flights to Denver
- Great location for an outdoor enthusiat; hiking, biking, mountain climbing, snow sports, fishing and more can be found in the area

SageWest – Riverton is a 159-bed facility that provides patients with a completely coordinated continuum of care, from acute and sub-acute inpatient medical services to outpatient services and programs, including a 24-hour dedicated physician-staffed emergency room, intensive care unit, physical therapy, wound care, bariatrics, interventional pain, and sleep lab.
The hospital offers state-of-the-art imaging equipment, including digital mammography and 64-slice CT. An Optima MR450w 1.5T MRI is the latest addition to the imaging services offered. The hospital also has a number of physicians specializing in dentistry, general surgery, interventional pain, and urology.
