The Community

Nestled on the banks of the Rock River in southeastern Wisconsin, Watertown is strategically located between the state’s two largest cities. The Watertown community has a rich, long history. First settled by German immigrants in the mid-1800s, it was the site of the nation’s first kindergarten. With 275 acres of parks, the area is a beautiful setting for biking, hiking, horseback riding, golf, fishing, boating and kayaking in spring, summer and fall. The city boasts an aquatic center and indoor pool as well. Wintertime brings cross-country skiing, snowmobiling and other outdoor festivals and fun that make the most of every picturesque season.
