North Alabama Medical Center in Florence, Alabama (70miles West of Huntsville) is growing with the addition of an employed, full-time BC/BE Neurosurgeon to strengthen our established team. Those who are currently practicing or are currently in training can be considered.
Position Detail:
- Grow a successful practice quickly with established market need
- Bread and butter neurosurgery with potential sub-specialty fellowship exploration options
- Single specialty group joining three other Neurosurgeons
- Shared call schedule
- Affiliation with Semmes Murphey Clinic in Memphis
- J-1, H-1B, and O-1 waiver support via State Conrad 30, ARC, DRA, HHS based on location and specialty

North Alabama Medical Center (NAMC) is a 263-bed health care organization that will open its doors to patients on December 6, 2018. The facility is a replacement hospital for Eliza Coffee Memorial Hospital in Florence, AL.
NAMC has grown into the most comprehensive medical facility in northwest Alabama, south central Tennessee, and northeast Mississippi. The facility is the home of northwest Alabama’s only full-service heart/cardiac program. Our cardiac physicians offer the latest diagnostic and medical treatments available, along with the community’s only open-heart surgery suites and recovery facilities. In addition, ECM operates a complete line of women’s and children’s services, including dedicated OB/GYN and pediatric units.
NAMC's 24-hour emergency department serves as the primary referral center for major trauma cases in northwest Alabama.
