Join a great team as a full-time emergency department (ED) doctor with TeamHealth at our emergency medicine (EM) program at Del Sol. This bustling hospital with 379 beds has an annual volume of approximately 46,000 patients per year. Work with the best local leadership at the city's busiest ED in El Paso, Texas.
  • One of the only level 2 traumas in the city
  • Emergency department (ED) with 34 beds and robust specialty support.
  • See an average of 2 patients per hour
  • 47 hours per day of physician coverage and 16 hours per day of APC coverage
  • 24-hour, in-house radiology reads
  • Internal medicine residents rotate through the ED.
  • Enjoy working alongside a facility medical director with over 15 years of tenure and a regional medical director with 23 years tenure with this El Paso hospital system
  • 2024 emergency medicine residents are encouraged to apply

The county seat of El Paso County, Texas, El Paso lies in far West Texas with a population estimate of 674,433, making it the 19th most populous city in the U.S. The city’s U.S. metropolitan area covers all of El Paso and Hudspeth counties, with a population of 831,036, and the El Paso metropolitan statistical area has a population of 1,044,496.
