Located in the "Gateway to the Northwest", Portneuf Surgical Specialists is seeking a  BE/BC Trauma Surgeon to join an established surgical group based in pristine, beautiful Pocatello, ID. With 205-beds at the Level II Trauma Portneuf Medical Center, the department of surgery is among the most highly regarded surgical services teams in the region. Our team of board-certified physicians, uses the most advanced technology, including minimally invasive robotic surgical equipment (da Vinci). • Ten 24 hr. Shifts/Mo 
• Medical Directorship Opportunity
• 10-15 patient encounters while on call
• da Vinci Surgical System
• Inpatient Only
• Join a group of 10 multi-specialty surgeons and 6 advanced practice providers
• Level II Trauma Center
• Dedicated Trauma Service for patient admits
• Call is not in-house (15 min response time)
• Hospital offers specialty support including Interventional Radiology, Critical Care, and fully staffed ICU/Hospitalist Services
• Epic EMR
• Teaching opportunity (Medical Students & FM Residents)

Minimum Qualifications:

• ABS BE/BC General Surgeon- Critical Care
• Surgical Fellowship Training in Trauma , Acute Care, or Critical
