Experienced Neurosurgery NP/PA | PRN Position- 10-15 hrs/wk | Inpatient-Only

Hackensack Meridian Mountainside Medical Center in Montclair, NJ- 20 mi from NYC, has an immediate opening for an experienced Neurosurgery Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner for a PRN position starting at 10-15 hrs. a week.

Requirement: 2-3 years of neurosurgery APP experience 

About Your Work:

·         Inpatient-only setting

·         Work w/ Neurosurgery, Neuro Spine and Neuroendovascular disciplines

·         Potential growth into part-time or full-time position

·         Schedule 7 a.m. -5 p.m. (flexible)

·         Patient load: 5-10/day

·         Team of 12 surgeons (work w/ 5-7/day)

·         Hospital & ED consultations and pre-surgery assistance (prep patients, do H&Ps, enter pre-orders, etc.)

·         Opportunity for first-assist based upon candidate interest/qualification

·         Epic EMR
