Job Summary:

Summerville Medical Center and Trident Health system are looking for a Maternal-Fetal Medicine specialist to lead their team as Medical Director and help to serve patients in our Charleston market.

Qualified Candidates/Details:

  • Fellowship trained in Maternal Fetal Medicine
  • Must be board certified in Maternal Fetal Medicine
  • Must have a South Carolina license or the ability to be licensed in South Carolina prior to starting
  • Call will be 1:3
  • Level-III NICU includes staff Neonatologists

Summerville Medical Center has invested in growing the hospital’s women’s and pediatric care so that families can receive high quality care close to home. In recent years Summerville Medical Center has opened a new women’s and neonatal tower that includes 30 postpartum private rooms, 12 labor and delivery rooms, a 16-bed Level II Special Care Nursery, and more. Trident Health system consolidated all obstetric and neonatal care to one location at Summerville Medical Center in 2019. In addition, Summerville Medical Center offers a high risk obstetric Maternal Fetal Medicine Clinic, comprehensive breast health care at the Summerville Breast Center, and a roster of board-certified physicians specializing in women’s care. Pediatric care includes a 10-bed pediatric ER, inpatient pediatric unit and pediatric intensive care unit, and pediatric subspecialty programs including general surgery, orthopedics, and gastroenterology.
