Job Description

The role of the physical medicine and rehabilitation (PM&R) specialist is key in the growth and quality of care a patient receives. You will work collaboratively with the primary care physician, advanced practice clinician, physical and occupation therapist to enhance each patient stay by setting realistic goals to help patients return to their prior level of function and get back to living their best quality of life.

Some of the medical services our physiatrists and rehabilitation specialists provide are:
  • Treatment for spasticity or pain that limits function
  • Prescribe adaptive devices for safety
  • Reduce opioid use through the use of alternative medication and modalities
  • Educate staff on all aspects of the rehabilitation process
  • On-site joint and trigger point injections

This opportunity has huge potential for growth as a consulting PM&R and leader. The setting is an acute care facility with newly renovated patient rooms and state of the art equipment for neurological, orthopedic, spinal cord, and stroke patients.

Our compensation is a productivity-based model (Fee for Service). Expected compensation is estimated salary range of $258,000 to $309,600 annually with no cap on productivity income potential. This full-time role is benefit eligible.
