Job Summary:

Our interventional and diagnostic cardiology practice seeks an additional physician to join our team in Blacksburg Virginia. We offer highly individualized care to adults with common and complex cardiology conditions. As part of the LewisGale Regional Health System, we partner with hundreds of physicians who share our common commitment to providing superior, compassionate care and evidence-based medicine.

Qualified candidates:

Must be board-certified or board-eligible
Must have a Virginia license or be able to obtain a Virginia License prior to start
Fellowship training in Cardiology
Peripheral skills/interest a plus
Provide high-quality inpatient care and work collaboratively with other physicians and dedicated patient care teams
Strong clinical and communication skills, a team mentality, and an enthusiastic and innovative approach

Emergent PCI 24/7 program with better than average STEMI times

Cardiac and vascular rehab services
Full diagnostic services including angiography, CT, echo
The practice has two busy interventional cardiologists and two cardiac nurse practitioners
