Job Description

Swain Family Medicine is our employed family clinic located in Swain Community Hospital in Bryson City, NC. This is a busy outpatient only clinic, and we are hiring a full time family medicine Nurse Practitioner to join our established clinic. This is an exciting opportunity to join an existing practice, (3  full time physicians and APPs)

Our Clinic sees all ages and offers basic primary care services. We have an excellent team and looking to find a hardworking FNP who loves the mountains and the great outdoors as much as we do. Our APPs do carry their own patient load, so we are seeking someone who feels comfortable working independently.

  • Daily Volumes of 18-25 patients per day

Located 25 minutes west of Sylva, North Carolina, and 75 minutes west of Asheville, North Carolina, Bryson City is the county seat of Swain County and North Carolina’s gateway to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. A variety of specialty services, including pulmonology, gastroenterology, urology, orthopaedics and sports medicine, are also offered. There is a hospital-managed pain clinic onsite and a family medical practice located inside the hospital.
