This semi-independent multispecialty practice affiliated with Hawaii Health System Corporation employs physicians and nurse practitioners in their clinics, all of whom are also on the medical staff of Kona Community Hospital. The practice provides high quality medical care to the West Hawaii community.
Kailua Kona, often referred to as "Kona" by the locals, is the main western city of the Big Island of Hawaii. It is nestled on the western coast of the Hualalai Volcano. In ancient times, this area was considered the premier place to live due to the excellent weather and good water. Many kings made their homes here. Later, missionaries built churches and residences and planted coffee, turning the tiny fishing village into a small seaport. Now Kona has become known for sport fishing, snorkeling, sunsets and coffee, which is cultivated on the slopes of Mount Hualalai. Because the mountains block the northeasterly trade winds, Kona gets very little rain and enjoys more than 300 days of sunshine a year.
Take the next step in your career and enjoy the beauty of Hawaii's Big Island while providing exceptional care in a supportive, thriving medical practice. We invite you to join our team and experience the rewards of this remarkable opportunity.
