Job Summary:
A great chance for a neurosurgeon to build a practice the way you want it with full support from the hospital in McAllen, TX. Strong interest in a neurosurgeon with spine training/experience due to large spine volumes in the community.Qualified Candidates:
- Must be board certified or board eligible in neurosurgery
- Ability to obtain a Texas medical license or have a Texas medical license in good standing
- Candidates with experience or new residents/fellows will be considered
- Access to a da Vinci robot surgical system, an o-arm, a biplane unit and an angiography suite
- Upgrading IR & cath lab
- Opportunity to build brain/cranial/spine
- Experience with VNS/DBS and/or stroke would be a plus
- Shared call with three other neurosurgeons in the community
- 24/7 neurohospitalists
- Huge community need for an additional neurosurgeon in the area
