Job Summary:

Our OB/GYN practice seeks an additional physician to join our team in Salem, Virginia. Our tenured team of experts offer highly individualized comprehensive care to women with common and complex conditions. As part of the LewisGale Regional Health System, we partner with hundreds of physicians who share our common commitment to providing superior, compassionate care and evidence-based medicine.

Qualified candidates:

• Must be a lawful permanent resident or legal member of the US
• Medical Degree
• Board-certified or board-eligible
• Strong clinical and communication skills, a team mentality, and an enthusiastic and innovative approach
• Provide high-quality care and work collaboratively with other physicians and dedicated patient care teams
• Ability to obtain a VA medical license, and DEA license
• LewisGale Medical Center has three DaVinci Xi robotic consoles for candidates who have an interest in becoming robotically trained.

About our women’s health services and job opportunity:

• 1:8 call schedule as well as midwifery support
• Laborist model with 2 part-time laborists covering 3 days a week

• Our practice is located on the same campus as our Labor and Delivery unit
• Ability to perform intra-office procedures including uterine ablations
• Opportunity to perform surgery at three locations within the market
• Total of 1,491 births in 2024
• Established patient base with new patient acceptance
