Baptist St. Anthony provides 50 hours of physician coverage and 40 hours of APC coverage daily within this level III trauma center. We are averaging an annual volume of 54,000 per year that encompasses 49 emergency department (ED) beds with a 31% admission rate; while dealing with high acuity. Our providers have access to the most advanced laboratory in the region with a state of the art ED and hospital facilities. There is extensive specialty back-ups in place, which includes most pediatric specialties as well as scribes at no cost to the physicians. Presently, our ED staff do not handle floor codes, and are using EPIC as the EMR.
