* Case Mix: Cardiac, major vascular, orthopedics, obstetrics, neurosurgery, general surgery, urology, and gynecology. Minimal pediatric- mainly at ASC. No transplants. No trauma.
* 1 in-house Anesthesiologist and 1 beeper-call as backup.
* Regional non-profit healthcare system based in Syracuse, NY. Hospital offers primary, specialty, and home care, and collaboration with community partners.

**Responsibilities**

* Assist in the directing and coordinating of activities in the Anesthesia Department
* Responsible for the medical management of patients who are rendered unconscious and/or insensible to pain and emotional stress during surgery and other medical procedures
* Pre-anesthesia assessment
* Obtains and/or verifies patient consent
* Discuss anesthetic options and risks with the patient Induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
* Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition
* Performance of clinical intervention as needed

**Requirements**

* M.D./D.O. Degree from an accredited College of Medicine
* ECFMG and FLEX
* Completion of approved residency in anesthesia
* Currently licensed as a physician

**Compensation Details**

* General Call-taking Anesthesiologist: $600K with 10 weeks of PTO
* Nigh Float Anesthesiologist: $625k, 7on/7off (no PTO)
* Per-Diem Anesthesiologist: $300/hour
* 1099 Anesthesiologist: $300/hour
