**Family Medicine OB Faculty Opening in Virginia**
Two practice sites: Abingdon and Marion VA

The ideal candidates must be Family Medicine board certified with training in full-scope family medicine including fellowship trained in Obstetrics.

* OB Fellowship training required.
* Call: 1:2 for practice-based, low-volume OB patients; no overnight call for hospitalist shifts
* 1:6 office call (phone call only with residents taking first call)
* Physicians must have a strong commitment to graduate medical education.
* These are full-time positions with the following required duties: handling administrative duties for the GME program, which includes resident supervision in the clinic and hospital, attendance at meetings, candidate interviews, curriculum development, and research; and direct patient care and clinical activities working with our residents in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
* The main focus of these positions will primarily be the teaching of residents but will also have responsibilities for teaching medical students and oversight of advanced practice providers.
