* Seeking a BC/BE Family Medicine, Internal Medicine physician, or Hospitalist to work a split, inpatient/outpatient position

**On the Outpatient side:**

* Roughly 8 days of clinic, spread over 3 weeks
* Broad Primary Care Practice
* Multispecialty Clinic with support from specialists and ancillary services
* The clinic site has 5 Family Physicians
* No OB, but prenatal care is an option
* Telephone call 1:26
* 16-22 patients per day
* This position is to prepare for anticipated retirements

**On the Inpatient side:**

* Half-time Hospitalists work 1, 7-on shift, per month.
* Partner with existing Hospitalist Program of both full and half-time providers.
* Schedule 12 hours shifts with 2-3 weeks of nights; the rest of the shifts are days.
* Hospitalists will cover ICU, with consultative intensivist support.
* Total number of physicians in specialty currently in the department at practice site: 7.
* The practice is fully staffed with 8-9 hospitalists.
* Average inpatient practice volume per day: Med Surg-71 / ICU-10; divided between 3-4 rounding hospitalists, who also share admissions.
* Average daily census on unit: 50-60
