Internists needed in Upstate NY Located in the foothills of the Adirondack and Catskill Mountains 70 miles to Albany & 90 miles to Syracuse NY Service area of 600,000 people Full time, permanent opening Healthcare Network, a progressive health care network in central New York and major teaching affiliate of Columbia University, is currently seeking Internists at the following locations: - Cobleskill - Cooperstown - Herkimer - Hamilton/Madison - Delhi - Schoharie Job Description & Responsibilities: - The Division of General Internal Medicine is an NCQA Patient-Centered Medical Home, Level 3 Recognized practice. We use fully integrated EPIC inpatient and ambulatory EMR - Join a remarkable team of General Internists and Advanced Practice Clinicians - Provide comprehensive Medical Care for patients 18 and above - Orientation time to ramp up schedule to a maximum of 8 patients per 4 hour session, 9 sessions per week - Protected administrative time Wednesday mornings - Dedicated nursing and administrative staff - Clinical teaching in General Internal Medicine and/or Geriatrics - Secondary call coverage a first call system in place with a nurse practitioner/physician assistant on call for your patients - Faculty appointment from Columbia University, daily interaction with medical students, Internal Medicine, and Transitional residents - Excellent technological and subspecialty support - Salary Range: $220,000 - $270,000.
