As a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC), we provide vital health services to almost 40,000 individuals annually in Marin County.
* The experienced Physician is responsible for providing and managing quality health care services to patients of Marin Community Clinics.
* Provides and manages direct patient care, including physical examinations, evaluations, assessments, diagnoses and treatment for a specified patient population.
* Prescribes pharmaceuticals, other medications, and treatment regimens as appropriate to assessed medical conditions.
* Refers patients to specialists and to relevant patient care components as appropriate.
* Follows established departmental policies, procedures, and objectives.
* Maintains a professional relationship with staff and patients.
* Performs other related and/or necessary tasks to achieve clinic goals and objectives, as directed by the Medical Director.
* Care team responsibilities as outlined in the Care Team Patient Center Medical Home Procedures.
* The provider reports directly to the site Medical Director.
* Hiring Bonus: May be eligible for up to $100,000.00 hiring bonus; prorated if working part time status.

Education and Experience:
* Must have a current California Physician MD/DO medical license to practice.
* Physician with three 3-5 years of directly related experience which may include residency in a directly related medical facility.
* Must have a current California license issued by the Board of Registered Nurses/Medical Board of California.
* Current registration issued by the DEA allowing the prescription of drugs.
* Current BLS certification and current national certificate.
* Experience using electronic health care records Epic highly desired.
**Required Skills and Abilities:**
* Computer skills required.
* Bilingual (Spanish/English) skills highly desired but not required.
* Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
* Sensitive to the needs and situations of a multi-cultural population from a variety of income levels.
**Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:**
* Prolonged standing and walking
* Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
* Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
**Covid-19 vaccination requirements:**
All employees are required to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19, including "health-care" required boosters as a condition of employment, subject to limited exemptions. New employees are required to provide proof of being fully vaccinated for COVID-19 and boosted before the first day of employment.
