**Child & Adolescent Psychiatry Opening in Nashville, TN**
Seeking a Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist to provide psychiatric services across the agency. You will evaluate and diagnose individuals who are experiencing a psychiatric emergent/urgent or routine condition in an outpatient setting, face-to-face, and/or by telehealth. You will determine pharmacological treatment for patients as well as facilitate admitting patients to the hospital or respite as needed.
* Monday to Friday, 8am-4:30pm (on-site) with no on-call responsibilities.
* We are offering a competitive compensation package and relocation reimbursement.
Compensation: For the right candidate, this is a lucrative position paying up to $300k or higher for a 37.5 hour week, in addition to a very generous benefits policy, no state income tax, and below average cost of living.
**Responsibilities**
* Evaluate and diagnose individuals who are experiencing a psychiatric emergent/urgent or routine condition in an outpatient setting, face-to-face and/or by telehealth.
* Pharmacological treatment for patients including prescribing medications using InfoScriber, as well as providing follow-up.
* Facilitate admitting patients to the hospital or respite and consulting with MCRT when needed.
* Supervise Nurse Practitioner and/or residents as assigned.
* Coordinate medical aspects of treatment with Nurse, Care Management Supervisor and Care Managers.
* Participate and provide supervision of multidisciplinary treatment team meetings and provide consultation by phone when needed.
* Maintain active role in treatment team.
* Consult with outside Physicians regarding care managed consumers as necessary and assist with communication to the PCP.
**Requirements**
* Tennessee Licensed Psychiatrist
* Board Eligible/Board Certified
* Valid Tennessee Drivers License
* Acceptable Motor Vehicle Report (MVR)
* Acceptable Criminal Background Investigation
