Medical Director/Psychiatrist for Mental Health Services in PA Located in Upland, Pennsylvania Full-Time & Permanent Seeking a BE/BC Psychiatrist to join as the Medical Director for Mental Health Services in Upland, Pennsylvania. * Full-time position reporting to the Interim Chairman of Department of Psychiatry. - Oversees the treatment, protocols and clinical operations of the Community Campus outpatient clinic at the medical center. - This includes working closely and collaboratively with all providers, program managers and directors to ensure treatment/medication compliance for all patients for the Adult, Geriatric, Child and Adolescent service departments. - In addition, the Director monitors the provision of high quality patient care. - The Outpatient Medical Director/Psychiatrist for Mental Health Services is responsible for providing leadership and supervision to a staff of physicians and Advanced Practice Providers in the clinic. - In addition to providing mentorship. Please note: the largest portion of the position is dedicated to direct clinical care, with the balance providing administrative duties. - Additionally, the Director serves as liaison between the clinic and senior management ensuring open communication and heads quality improvement initiatives for the setting. - Participates in regularly scheduled administrative/management meetings. - Promotes a culture of safety and quality in the clinic.
