Job Summary:
HCA Florida Poinciana Hospital is seeking an emergency medicine physician for our HCA Florida Champions Gate FSED, in Davenport, FL
Qualified Candidates:
• Board certified or board eligible in emergency medicine via the American Board of Emergency
Medicine (ABEM) or American Osteopathic Board of Emergency Medicine (AOBEM) required
• 9K ER visits per year
• 12 emergency room bays, including a fully equipped Trauma bay
• Separate pediatric waiting area, triage, and a dedicated bay
• State of the art imaging, including CT, Ultrasound, and Radiology
• Covered ambulance entrance for patient drop-off/pick-up and EMS lounge
• Patients needing to be admitted to an inpatient bed will be transported to the main campus with seamless care handoff to our excellent intensivists, hospitalists and specialists Independent Contractor Status

- Opened in 2013, HCA Florida Poinciana Hospital is a four-story, 177,000 sq. ft. hospital with 94 private beds, a 12-bed private ICU, and 31-bed emergency department
- We provide a full range of acute care services including emergency services, inpatient and outpatient diagnostic imaging, inpatient and outpatient surgery, cardiac catheterization, laboratory, pharmacy, and a full range of support services
- Our ED is approximately 19,500 sq. ft. and consists of 31 private treatment rooms, an EMS entrance, and a helicopter pad

About HCA Florida Poinciana Hospital
Poinciana Medical Center is a two-story, 90,000 square foot building with 24 private medical-surgical bed and a six-bed ICU. In support of both inpatient and outpatient care, the facility provides a full range of acute care services including diagnostic imaging, inpatient and outpatient surgery, and cardiac catherization.
Poinciana Medical Center also has a 12-bed free standing Emergency Department (FSED). The FSED is approximately 11,000 square feet with 12 exam rooms. In addition, the facility includes a 16-slice CT, radiography and fluoroscopy room, ultrasound, laboratory, and pharmacy.
