Job Summary:
HCA Healthcare Anesthesia Services is seeking a BC/BE General Anesthesiologist to join the cohesive and supportive team at Chippenham Hospital in Richmond, Virginia. This is an in-house, overnight position with 26 weeks on and 26 weeks off. Chippenham is a Level I Trauma Center and has been proudly serving Central VA for over 50 years and is committed to providing the highest quality patient care with compassion and leading edge expertise.Opportunity Highlights/Qualified Candidates:
- Care Team Model of 9 General Anesthesiologists, 4 CV Anesthesiologists and 29 CRNAs covering 20 sites of service.
- Diverse mix of cases including Trauma, Vascular, Thoracic, OB, General, Orthopedics, Urology, GYN, GI and Pediatrics.
- Annual surgical volume 18,000 cases. 500 labor epidurals on average.
- Schedule is 7p-7a, Monday through Sunday with the following week off.
- No cardiac responsibilities as cardiac anesthesiologist is on call from home. CRNA in-house at all time, with a second on home call.
- W2, salaried opportunity with excellent compensation plus annual Trauma stipend.
