In September 2018, BMDACC moved into an iconic 9-story, 330,000 sq. ft. outpatient facility to provide state-of-the-art treatment and subspecialty care, clinical research, and education in all areas of cancer medicine, radiation oncology, and surgical oncology/surgical subspecialties.  To meet the needs of patients and families, the program has grown to include over 50 physicians (including 22 surgeons) and 700 team members to provide prevention, screening, diagnosis, treatment, and wellness/survivorship services in one location.  In-patient care is provided on the same campus at the Baptist Medical Center Jacksonville, a 500-bed tertiary hospital.  BMDACC has quickly grown to become one of the larger cancer programs in Florida – ranking 4th for new cancer patients (Florida Trend January 2024) – meeting the needs of this community and beyond.
