They were the first to offer minimally invasive robotic-assisted surgery, are an accredited Chest Pain Center, and are fully accredited by The Joint Commission. Springdale strives to honor a 30-minute or less service pledge.

As part of Northwest Health System, Northwest Medical Center–Springdale is the first hospital in Northwest Arkansas to achieve Chest Pain Center accreditation. Arkansas's first open-heart surgery was performed at Northwest Medical Center–Springdale and this legacy continues today with the region’s most modern interventional cardiac catheterization lab and 3D-imaging capabilities.
