Licensed Professional Counselor in Peru, IL

We are seeking a licensed professional counselor to join our team in Peru, Illinois. The ideal candidate will work one week on and one week off (Monday through Friday). If you value flexibility, work/life balance, and have a passion for helping individuals overcome challenges and improve their mental well-being this is the position for you! 

Responsibilities:

• Provide counseling services to clients dealing with various mental health issues
• Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to each client's needs
• Maintain accurate and confidential client records in compliance with Medicare and private insurance
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for clients
• Stay current on best practices in counseling and therapy techniques

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in counseling or related field
• State licensure as a professional counselor
• Experience working with diverse populations, including geriatrics, active older adults with developmental disabilities, and those in need of behavioral therapy
• Knowledge of medical terminology, medical documentation, and ICD-10 coding
