Piedmont is located only 30 minutes from Charlotte, North Carolina. This facility is part of the Piedmont Medical Center hospital system, which is comprised of Piedmont Gold Hill free standing emergency department and Piedmont Fort Mill Hospital. Piedmont Medical Center hospital system is a robust emergency department (ED) system offering a wide variety of practice settings within three hospital sites. The main ED, Piedmont Medical Center is a 288-bed level III trauma center seeing approximately 60,000 patients annually. Physicians rotate their monthly hours between Piedmont Medical Center, Piedmont Gold Hill and Piedmont Fort Mill.
