Job Summary:
We are seeking an emergency medicine facility physician leader to lead our team at our free standing emergency department in Fredericksburg, Virginia.Qualified Candidates:
- Board certified or board eligible in emergency medicine
- 1+ years practice experience
- Previous medical directorship / leadership experience preferred
- Excellent clinical and communication skills

About our Fredericksburg Emergency Department:
- Projecting 8,500 anticipated ER visits/ approximately 23 visits per day
- Fully integrated with Spotsylvania Regional Medical Center
- 24 hours of physician coverage - 7 am - 7 pm
- 10,000 square feet
- Fully equipped trauma bay
- Separate adult and pediatric waiting area
- 11 private treatment rooms
- State of the art imaging, including CT, ultrasound and radiology
- Ambulance bay for EMS access
- Patients needing to be admitted to an inpatient bed will be transported to the main campus with seamless care handoff to our excellent intensivists, hospitalists, and specialists
