Job Summary:
Rio Grande Regional Hospital is seeking Emergency Medicine Physicians to join our Freestanding Emergency Room in Mission, Texas.Qualified Candidates:
- BE/BC in EM, or FM/IM with experience
Incentives/Benefits:
- 11,000 annual volume
- 24 hours of physician coverage
- Up to 120 hours per month available
- APP coverage to support daily patient surge
- Independent Contractor Status
- Malpractice Insurance with tail coverage available

About Rio Grande Regional Hospital Mission FSED:
- Brand new 10,840sq ft facility
- 12-bed ED – 6 exam rooms plus isolation room, bariatric room, pelvic exam room, trauma room, triage room and behavioral health room
- 24 hours of physician coverage, 12 hour shifts
- Anticipated annual patient volume of 7K-11K
- EMR: Meditech
- Affiliation with Rio Grande Regional Hospital makes direct admission when necessary to the hospital simple and seamless
- Blood Work processed on the on-site lab
- CT scan, ultrasound, and X-rays completed on site
