Job Summary:

HCA-Hospital Based Services is seeking Emergency Medicine­ Physicians to become part of our prestigious practice at HCA Florida Woodmont Hospital in Tamarac, FL. Formerly University Hospital, our 271-bed full-service facility has been serving Florida's Broward County community for more than 50 years. 

ED FEATURES:

1. 23 beds, including 6 in fast-track
2. Around 40K Annual ER visits

4. 40 hours doc coverage Mon-Fri; 36 hours doc coverage Sat/Sun
5. 24 hour of Advanced Practice Providers coverage
6. 28% admission rate
7. Extensive sub-specialty coverage
8. EMR: Meditech, Pdoc, and dragon dictation
9. Independent Contractor site (1099)

Qualified candidates must be Board Certified/Board Prepared Emergency Medicine (ABEM or AOBEM),with­ ACLS, and PALS OR Board Certified in Family Practice or Internal Medicine with at least 5 years of current ER ­experience,
