Urgent Care NP/PA Opening in Wyoming
Located in Lyman, WY - 40 miles to Evanston
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: commensurate with experience.
Schedule: M-F
Experience: Clinical experience (post degree) in an UC, ED or FM setting: 2 years (Required)
License/Certification: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) (Required)
Physician or Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner (Required)
Searching for a Board-Certified Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner who is passionate about providing healthcare in a small-town setting to join our Urgent Care Clinic in Bridger Valley Wyoming. Enjoy the security and support of belonging to an established healthcare system, while also enjoying the autonomy of being at a satellite clinic.
Job Duties:
- Perform direct patient care in a positive and professional manner under the supervision of Primary Care Provider
- Take and review medical histories to assess the patients needs
- Examine and treat patients in the clinic
- Order and interpret tests as needed to diagnose further treatment
- Treat injuries, assist in emergency room as needed for orthopedic related cases
- Educate and counsel patients and family as to current situation, developing and implementing a treatment plan
- Participate in a rotating on-call schedule
- Utilize EPIC (EMR) to track patients records
- Supervise support staff
- Attend appropriate meetings
- Perform other duties as needed and assigned
