**Locums Emergency Medicine - Foley, AL**
**Coverage**
- Start: ASAP
- End: Ongoing
- 8-10 shift/month minimum

**Position Details**
- 18-22 patients/shift
- 21 beds in dept
- Temp privileges available
- Admissions required
- No newborn deliveries received in the ED. Yes, L&D Dept
- 28,000 annual visits
- Docs see an avg of 1.5 pph, APP's see avg of 2.26 pph. Summer may increase due to beach area
- 24 hours of doc coverage, 20 hours of APP coverage daily
- 20% admission rate
**The following support services have 24 hours availability at the facility:**
- Anesthesia
- Catheterization Lab
- General Surgery
- Laboratory
- Orthopedic Surgery
- Radiolog
- Vascular Surgery
**Facility Details**
- EMR: Medhost
**Requirements**
- AL License or IMLC
- BC/BE
- ACLS, ATLS, PALS
**Skills Required**
- Need to be comfortable with high acuity and see 2 patients per hour.
