**Pediatric opening in Albert Lea, MN**
Located 95 miles from Minneapolis, MN
The Division of Pediatric and Adolescent Medicine - in Austin and Albert Lea, Minnesota is seeking board certified/eligible pediatricians to join a practice of 4 board-certified pediatricians.
- Ideal candidate will have an interest in medical education, research and clinical work
- Have the opportunity to evaluate and treat children and adolescents with acute and chronic medical conditions
- Inpatient and outpatient
- There are currently 4 Pediatricians
- Call rotation of 1:10 to 1:11
- Average of 80 patient visits per week
- Pediatric nurse phone triage available
- Serves approximately 700 births with 50 pediatric admissions annually
- Epic EHR, connected across all Clinic sites
- Regular teaching opportunities
- Ongoing clinical quality and research opportunities
Skills required:
- Conducting comprehensive evaluation of patients
- Performing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures
- Assessing patient status relative to hospital admissions and discharges
- Prescribe medications and treatments
- Consult with colleagues on patient management and treatment plans
- Participate in call rotations
Qualifications
- Possess or be easily able to obtain licensure in the state of Minnesota
- Must be board certified/board eligible

The home/main location for the position is Albert Lea, MN with call coverage of the Austin, MN site.
