Cardiology
- Monthly Coverage: Up to 30 days of call coverage
- Support Staff: PM, MOS, MOC, RNs
- Daily Shift Requirements: Up to 30 days of call (shifts are from 5pm-7am the following day or 14 hour shifts) Clinic coverage, General Cardiology and Interventional coverage
- Practice EMR: eClinical Works/ Meditech
- Special Certification or Requirements: ATLS, ACLS Required
- Action Plan: Recruit and hire cardiologist
- Board Certified: YES
- Board Eligibility: YES
- Daily Patient Volume: 25
- Locums to cover interventional and general cardiology call due to anticipated cessation of coverage by CMC providers on 9/1. New expense. Previous coverage.
- 12% of all Parkland ER visits have a primary cardiology diagnosis, and 1/3rd of all cardiology patients at PMC originate in the ER.
- 1250 referral bonus received for any referral who works 30 days.
