Piedmont Eastside Medical Center in collaboration with TeamHealth is seeking the following type of emergency medicine (EM) clinicians for their core ED team:
- Ability to manage acute medical, surgical conditions, trauma care and a variety of emergencies across all age groups
- Ability to multi-task with a high-volume patient population with diverse medical needs
- Ability to work collaborate closely with nurses, paramedics, specialists and leadership team
- Ability to remain current with advances in emergency medicine through CME
- Being adaptable and handle the unexpected in a thriving environment
- Ability to work with families on patient treatment plans with sensitivity and clear concise explanations
- ED volume of 50k+
- 54 hours of MD coverage and 24 hours of APC coverage daily
- 38-bed ED
- Admission rate of 20%
- Epic EMR
- Highly experienced nursing and leadership team
- Hospital medicine program serviced by TeamHealth
