Job Summary:

HCA Florida North Florida Hospital in Gainesville, Florida is seeking an exceptionally well-trained general surgeon to join their premier general surgery practice in a surgicalist role.

Qualified Candidates:

• Incoming provider will join a well-known group of surgeons that has serving the Gainesville and surrounding communities since 2002

• Board eligible or board certified in general surgery
• Experience is preferred but not required
• Bread and butter general surgery – emergency, acute care surgeries
• Hospital-based and inpatient focused surgicalist:
  • Managing inpatient consults
  • Rounding on patients
  • Covering emergent, acute care surgeries
•  Robotics available
• Cover only 1 facility
• On / off schedule
